I am an Indian, so i know which types are suited for indian Roads ass the bikes can be classified into more than 7 sections, i have listed some specifically for indian friends who are about to get their first bike or are thinking to buy a new.Under each section the bikes main features are listed.check them out!

- NAKED BIKES (Street bikes)
These Bikes are basically for everyday commuting. They are specially designed to provide you the best mileage a bike can get.These are budget Friendly and are Low maintenance also. They are Easier to Ride. They provide good mileage at the compromise of performance.
RECOMMENDED : KTM Duke , Pulsar , FZ
- STREET LEGAL SPORTS BIKE
These are the bikes which are specifically made to provide good performance and give decent mileage. You can use it for racing as well as for daily commute. Maintenance is not expensive and are a bit more comfortable than sports bike due to the riding position
RECOMMENDED : Yamaha R15 , Honda CBR150R
- SPORTS BIKE
These are Performance bikes and are fully-faired. They are specially designed for Racing and provide high performance at the cost of Comfort and mileage. These require high maintenance as the body is covered and its dificult to clean the engine and other parts. These are much much expensive than naked bikes but they are worth every penny.

- CRUISERS
Cruisers are specifically to provide comfort to the riders while driving for longer hours.Cruisers have limited cornering ability due to a lack of ground clearance.

- Dual-Sports
Dual-sports, sometimes called dual-purpose or on/off-road motorcycles, are street legal machines that are also designed to enter off-road situations. Typically based on a dirt bike chassis, they have added lights, mirrors, signals, and instruments that allow them to be licensed for public roads. They are higher than other street bikes, with a high center of gravity and tall seat height, allowing good suspension travel for rough ground.
